How the fixture would look like
Step 01 : In the order of registration timestamp the group will be formed
Step 02 : Not more than 2 previous semi finalists [ from the previous Indian tournaments conducted ] are put in the same group
Teams / Matches / Games Explained
• All categories are based on Group Stage round robin as the first round. All teams will be playing against each other the teams in their respective groups.
• It will be knock out stages after the group stage round robin matches
Point systems explained :
• Round Robin - 21 points , 1 Game, Side change at 11 points
• All knock out matches are of 1 game , 30 points hard stop, side change at 15 except semifinals and finals.
• Semi and finals will be best of 3 matches of 21 points hard stop
Reporting time : 15-20 mins before the game start time
Kindly note Malayalee Men's Doubles starts sharp at 7:30 AM on Sunday the 5th May 2024.
Please report to the venue 20 minute before the match begins. Categories Planned :
1. Malayalee Men's Doubles (MMD)
2. Indian Men's Doubles (IMD)
3. Malayalee Veteran's Doubles (MVD) [ DOB will be verified for this category ]*
4. Indian Women's Doubles (IWD)
5. Boys Under 17 Open Doubles (OBUS) [ DOB will be verified for this category ]**
6. Girls Under 17 Open Doubles (OGUS) [ DOB will be verified for this category ]**
7. Indian Mixed Doubles (IXD)
* Whoever born on or before the year 1974 are eligible to register in this MVD category. Minimum age is 50.
** Whoever born in the year 2007 or later are eligible to register in the OBUS & OGUS category
*** One Individual can participate in maximum 2 categories
$$$ Registration fee for a pair is SGD 60 for Non SMA Members SGD 55 for SMA Members $$$
$$$ Both the players must be a member to get the membership benefit. Players must be bale to validate their active membership proof upon request $$$
Note :
1) Only Singapore residents with a valid identity document can register for the tournament
2) For MMD & MVD categories, both the team members must be Malayalees.
